In the Rock-N-Round Robin bout, the defending champion Rollers won the mini-tournament with a 3 win, 0 loss evening. They only gave up 18 points in three periods.
Finishing second was the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers with a 2-1 record. The Hustlers picked up a tough win against the the Hell Marys and finished 1-2 on the night. The Hell Marys were missing a few of their better skaters, and finished with a 0-3 round robin record in Sunday night in Austin.
Rollergirls Joins Forces with Austin Derby Brats
The Austin Derby Brats Junior Flat Track Roller Derby is currently recruiting for the next session. Learn to skate, have fun, and join the awesome sport of Flat Track Roller Derby.
All girls age 8-17 are welcome regardless of skating ability.
Training provided by the Texas Rollergirls and Texas Speed Club
Program Includes Big Sister mentorship
First practice starts February 5, 2009
$90 skater registration includes:
10 week session
Two practices/week
Three Scrimmages
Free admission to all adult Roller Derby bouts in Austin
